SEASONAL OPPORTUNITIES

Find Your Place on the Team

Big Rock relies on people with different skills and strengths. Training is available for many positions.

Lift Operators

Help guests get safely to the top and back onto the slopes. We train on site, though prior experience is welcome.

Ideal candidates: personable, professional and comfortable following daily operating procedures.

Snow School Instructor

Help guests improve their skiing or snowboarding through private, group and school-program instruction.

Ideal candidates: positive communicators who are at least intermediate skiers or riders and comfortable working outside.

Snowmaking Technician

Snowmakers help maintain a high-quality snow surface and may work day or night shifts when conditions are right.

Ideal candidates: hardworking, detail-oriented and physically fit for demanding winter conditions.

Retail Staff

Assist guests with tickets, general information and retail items. Retail staff are often among the first people guests meet.

Ideal candidates: friendly, customer-oriented and comfortable handling money.

Rental Shop Technician

Fit, adjust and service ski and snowboard equipment. Rental technicians often work with first-timers and help build guest confidence.

Ideal candidates: friendly, accurate and careful with equipment and fitting details.

VOLUNTEER AT BIG ROCK

Be Part of the Mountain

Volunteers support races, events, off-season work and mountain operations. Current volunteer roles include Ski Patrol, race gate judging, race timing, clean-up projects and event support.
